Riparian Repair
To help reduce the impact of the next flood event on the creek banks, there has been extensive repair and mitigation work undertaken to help reduce the damaging flow of water on banks.
Council Upgrades & Repairs
Cessnock Council has undertaken significant road improvements thoughout the Greater Wollombi Valley in the wake of the 2020/22 flood events.
Collaboration with Local Land Services
Hunter Local Land Services partnered with Soil Conservation Services to install head cut mitigation works at two heavily degraded sites along stretches of the South Arm creek.
